Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Mediterranean

The Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Mediterranean, held in Ankara, and Istanbul on May 8th -- 9th 2013, was an initiative organized by the Inter parliamentary, the Foundation for the preservation of Natural Values, the Coalition for Global Ethics, and the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy that aimed to promote peaceful relations in the region. The conference focused on the theme of 'Promoting the Culture of Peace and Global Ethics for Conflict Mediation through Cultural Diplomacy' by bringing together parliamentarians, academics, and religious leaders to discuss contemporary peace-building and reconciliation issues in an open forum.
